Merry Christmas Cupboard Keep

I just finished another Christmas design by Country Rustic Primitives and wanted to share it with you all. This one is called "Merry Christmas Cupboard Keep"...don't you just love that Santa??? Jenny's designs are so much fun to stitch and I always love how they turn out.

I hope you are all keeping warm and enjoying the holiday season so far. Christmas will be here before you know it...guess that means I'd better get started on my shopping!

Happy stitching :)

Love the cupboard tuck! Where do you get wool for stuffing? I've gotta try that : ) Blessings, Shirlee

I love the design! But what's a cupboard keep?

Thanks for all of the nice comments about the cupboard keep. I'm glad you like it :) Jan...I think Shirlee said it best when she called this piece a cupboard tuck. The pattern calls it a cupboard keep but I think that's because it's just a little too big to be called a pinkeep but is more the size you can tuck into a cupboard display. Shirlee...What I use is actually wool roving. I find mine on Ebay from time to time but if that fails, you can find some nice roving on Gail Wilson's website. Hope that helps a little :)

Hi, Sandy, I've been following your blog for a while and should have commented before now. I
find it absolutely charming here, the photos and snippets are so sweet. How wonderful that you have the photo of your great, great, great-grandparents. Wow! I've also been meaning to ask you (I couldn't find your email, sorry for the winded comment) could you share with me the copy of the sampler from the 2006 issue of
'Cross Stitch and Needlework', it's from 1872 and you stitched it and posted the finished sampler on your July 26, 2010 post.
Your Christmas pinkeep is beautiful, I love the Santa with the simple words.
Happy Holidays,
