Four Patch Doll Quilt

I really enjoy creating doll quilts from 19th century reproduction fabrics and pink and brown is just about my favorite combination. This quilt is 13 inches square and is entirely pieced and quilted by hand. The two girls enjoying a little bit of sunshine are part of my small collection of antique china head dolls.

Your dolls are adorable. Do they have names? They lool quite comfortable sitting on the chair with the lovely quilt.

Love this little four patch! I used to do a lot of quilts with pinks and browns and other colors like indigo blues and shirtings thrown in but now I do either blue/brown or red/brown combinations. Funny how our taste changes over time. The old looking pinks still tug at my heartstrings tho.

Thank you so much, Lori! I do love the pinks but agree with you that blue & brown and red & brown look wonderful together. By the way, I've admired the quilts on your blog for some time now. Your work is amazing!!!
