Strawberry Pillow Tuck

I just finished stitching another wonderful sampler design...this one is by Beth Twist of Heartstring Samplery. It is called "With My Needle" and according to Beth, is inspired by:
Sweet summer strawberries and the thousands of little girls from centuries past who signed their samplers, "With my Needle".

I stitched my sampler on linen and decided to make it into what is either a somewhat large pinkeep or perhaps a rather small pillow tuck...I can't decide which! It is stuffed with wool roving and backed with a piece of wool that has been dyed a yummy "antique" strawberry color. I love doing these simple pinkeep/pillow finishes with no framing involved :) It keeps things nice and easy!

I can't believe that the weekend is here already...where does the time go??? Here's wishing you all a nice, relaxing two days filled with lots and lots of stitching!

Sandy,
Another beautiful finish! I know what you mean about making them into a stuffed piece. It is nice to keep it simple at times. Beth does wonderful patterns. Enjoy your weekend. I am rug hooking with a little x-stitching thrown in for good measure! Lori
